Here is a
kitchen of a house we recently
rehabbed.

It was a
small, closed in space, so we
removed the
wall between the kitchen and the
living room!

We got started
by gutting the kitchen then
removing the wallboard.

The removal of
the wall meant that we needed to
replacethe header with a longer
one. The header supports the
weight of the second story
floor.

The open space
created is a dramatic change and
an easy way to create value.
Today's home buyers prefer an
open floor plan more than the
older style closed in space.

As the kitchen
cabinets are installed you can
get a feel of how the newly
renovated house is going to
look.

The finished
kitchen complete with new
cabinets, new appliances, and
new flooring has totally
transformed the living space of
this house!

New recessed
lighting is a nice finishing
touch to the kitchen in this
rehab project! |
